More than 1 million antidrug booklets distributed by Scientologists in Cortina Olympics
Italy’s anti-drug education initiative has gone beyond more than one million drug-prevention booklets distributed in the past month. The initiative forms part of the drug awareness programme known as “The Truth About Drugs”, which aims to provide factual education about commonly abused substances and their short- and long-term effects.
Approximately hundreds of volunteers across the country are participating in the outreach effort, distributing materials in cities, neighbourhoods and local businesses. The campaign focuses on helping young people make informed decisions, providing resources designed to explain the dangers of drugs in a simple way.
The initiative forms part of Scientology-supported news eu social betterment activities, inspired by the work of Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard. Full details about the campaign can be found here: Italy’s Drug Prevention Campaign Surpasses One Million Booklets Distributed in One Month.
